So Much TV, So Little Time

I haven't updated this in such a long time. I feel like I'm neglecting it. For that I'm sorry. I have just been working and keeping busy. In my spare time, I've been watching a lot of TV and knitting. That's pretty much it.

Work has been going okay. Not perfect by any means, but not horrible. They are making some changes that I'm not thrilled with, but there's not much I can do about it. I'm just surfing the waves and hoping not to fall off the board.

Yes, that was a surfing reference. Do I surf? That would be a no. And after something I heard when my boyfriend made me watch Manswers, I won't be going in the ocean ever again. Let's just say that dolphins have a tendency to do something that I'm not fond of.

I'm getting ready to go on a new workout regime. I think I'm going to be able to stick with it for a change. I've been thinking about getting a Wii as well for a little bit of fun and hopefully doing a tiny bit of cardio. I will have to do some research because I'm not really sure if it would actually do anything for me workout-wise.

I Swear I'm Still Alive

I feel so bad! I haven't updated this or any of my other blogs in such a long time. The holidays just kind of took over and I didn't even have time to think about blogging (or much of anything else).

So what have I been up to? Well, lots and lots of work. I haven't even got much crafting done! I have bought some yarn though, since I had a coupon and I didn't want it to expire without me using it.

Honestly, I don't even remember what I've been doing. There was lots of food. I do remember that, haha.

I hope everyone had a great December! :) I hope I get the time to update this more.

A Freezing Update

It's cold. I'm cold. I don't have the best circulation so my toes and fingers are cold, haha. Go, Winter! :)

I am so sorry that I haven't updated this in a long time. It seems like I have been busier than ever lately and it's really taken a toll on me. I need a vacation, that's for sure.

We were in Chicago last week for my boyfriend's test. He was taking the first test of the CFA exam process. We won't get the results until January, so wish him luck!

I've been working like crazy and trying to get everything done for the holidays. That's been an adventure. Juggling was not something I've ever had a gift for.

Thanksgiving was good. We had a good time and good food. Christmas should be good as well. I still have to get my shopping done for Justin, but that's pretty much all I have left. I'm very glad that I started shopping so early this year and was able to get almost everything done. That has definitely saved me some time. I think I'm going to make that a habit.

Well, I plan on updating this a lot more frequently. I think once all of this holiday business is over with, life will get back to normal and therefore I'll have more time. I hope everyone is doing well and having a safe holiday season!

The Common Cold Kicked My Butt

I have been sick. So very, very sick. Luckily, I think the worst is over and that I should be all better soon. I started feeling bad a while ago, but like I was fighting something off. Well, it eventually got me, lol. I was pretty much unable to do anything. I missed some work, even. That is not something that I like to do at all. I didn't do much besides lay on the couch or lay in the bed. I was out of it. I didn't even turn on my computer for a couple of days and that is not me. I usually check my email obsessively, haha.

My boyfriend had been sick and when he started feeling better, that is when it really hit me and so he had to take care of me. He did a great job though. :) I'm lucky that he was here to see to everything. I don't think I could have driven to go buy medicine or anything.

I'm still a little sick. It's mainly my throat is really sore. That could be from all the coughing and everything that had went on. I sound pretty bad still when I do cough. Luckily, I'm not coughing all the time still.

I hear that a lot of people are sick right now. This time of year is always bad for it, but it seems like it just gets worse and worse every year. I hope everyone is staying healthy and feeling good. And if you do get sick, just keep hydrated and take it easy.

Election Day!

I voted today. I was expecting long lines. It took me only 20 minutes to be in and out of there. It was great! The people doing the roster and checking ID's was hilarious! He kept making jokes and he was awesome. I should have gotten his number for my mom, since he was around her age. Just joking, Mom! I don't think she reads this, but just in case...

I had to crop the picture since I have a tank top on and I was looking really cleavalicious. Gotta keep it G rated, lol.
